Important: The protection [+] power comes charged and ready to go, but after the initial use, you will need to plug it in to charge. Charging should take about 3 hours for maximum power.
You can charge it by itself or charge it attached to your phone.
When coupled, the phone will charge first followed by the battery pack.

To remove the protection [+] power from your device, gently pull on one edge to work the top of your phone out of the case.
Then gently slide your phone out of the case.
