Important: The protection [+] power comes charged and ready to go, but after the initial use, you will need to plug it in to charge. Charging should take about 3 hours for maximum power. You can charge it by itself or charge it attached to your phone.
When coupled, the phone will charge first followed by the battery pack.
To remove the protection [+] power from your phone,
press gently through camera hole until top of phone is released from case, then slide phone upwards to uncouple the lightning adapter.
