Our Commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals
The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) represent a global call to action for bold breakthroughs across 17 critical development areas to be achieved by 2030. Their aim is to foster multi-stakeholder collaboration to improve quality of life, protect the environment, and promote equitable and inclusive growth worldwide.
Since 2019, Logitech has pledged to support the SDGs, recognizing their strategic importance both to our business and to the broader global community. We are committed to delivering positive and measurable environmental and social impact through responsible business practices.
Mapping Material ESG Issues to the SDGs
As part of our sustainability and ESG strategy, we have conducted a materiality assessment to identify the most significant environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues relevant to our business and stakeholders. To demonstrate our alignment with global sustainability efforts, we have mapped these material ESG issues to the SDGs, underscoring how our initiatives contribute to broader sustainable development goals.
In today's environment, where investor groups and stakeholders demand transparency and tangible results, we acknowledge the risk of greenwashing - companies making commitments without delivering meaningful impact. To address this, the third column in the table below includes Verifiable Proofpoints
- objective, evidence-based indicators of our commitment, independently verifiable by third parties. The
Verifiable Proofpoints are inspired by third party inputs from investor groups who rank and rate companies like Logitech and assess their commitment and performance in relation to the SDGs.
Establishing rigorous proofpoints reinforces our accountability and provides our stakeholders with confidence that our ESG efforts translate into real, measurable progress.
